Lemons to Apples

He is given apples to make lemonade. He can’t quite make lemonade, so he ridicules himself and blames the apples. He doesn’t give thought to appreciating what he has, or making apple juice instead.
When or if he comes to understanding that it is not his fault, that he is given apples, that it is he who is self-defeating and delusional in his own abilities, will he now please stop blaming the fucking apples?
